Inspired by the gastronomical clubs in San Sebastián, where people come together and take turns cooking and sharing a large meal, Sociedades is a virtual gastronomy club. Content on Sociedades identifies quality restaurants and bars, comments on current food trends, and shares recipes. At least in America, it seems people are prioritizing food options that are the quickest and easiest over sharing a meal. Chain restaurants and fast-casual options have begun to take over cities.
